Account Director

Our multi-lingual call center in Madrid provides sophisticated lead and demand generation programs as part of integrated digital sales and marketing programs. We have a capacity of 100 seats.

 

Job Summary

 

We are looking for a highly experienced leader to support our ambitious growth plans.

 

The role of Account Director has four main components:

  1. Planning and enabling the profitable delivery and execution of client programs by the Aberdeen operations team through:
  • Clear communication of the client business and campaign drivers.
  • Producing a coherent, realistic and comprehensive Project Plan for each engagement covering all operational elements and divisions.
  • Continual involvement in project planning and execution to ensure that KPIs are being met
  1. Retaining and growing the accounts for which they are responsible through strong strategic direction; matching client needs and requirements with Aberdeen products and solutions; and expanding Aberdeen’s footprint within the client organization.
  2. Effective communication with the client organization at all levels, including being the “voice of the customer” internally, but setting the right expectations and delivering good and bad news with integrity. Preparing and presenting results, findings and recommendations in weekly operational calls, monthly reviews and strategic QBR meetings.
  3. Internal communication at all levels, helping Operations to deliver exemplary performance and communicating challenges and success to upper management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree, with postgraduate marketing qualification preferred
  • Understanding of marketing services
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and b2b demand generation
  • Native English and ideally another European language
  • Minimum of 5 years client handling experience with global companies in b2b context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Account P&L experience
  • Knowledge of data and data analysis
  • Project management skills / certification

A key metric for the Account Director will be based on retention of customers and our client satisfaction surveys.
